Some of my work as an illustrator
About Me
I was born in Puerto Rico in the 60s, my parents raised me in the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the M.I. Pentecostal Movement Council. I have never stopped attending the temple although I have committed many mistakes and sins, I can still affirm that God's mercy has reached me to this day. I always liked to draw and over time my skills continued to develop, I never completed a degree in arts, but I have still worked for some advertising companies as an illustrator, caricaturist, video, animation and graphic design. For me, drawing is an incomparable blessing: imagining and creating through drawing or sculpture is something fantastic. I have to thank my parents Francisco and Justa for giving me the opportunity to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Jesus is the solution to the crisis of today's world, I also want to thank three pastors who were influential in my development: First, Pastor Joaquín Ramos Álvarez, because he was the pastor that I remember in my childhood and pre-adolescence, under his pastorate I learned the basics of the gospel. Second Dr. Ángel M. Santiago Soto, thanks to him I understood the importance of sermon preparation and Bible class, we have to strive to bring fresh bread to the altar: “Bible school is the backbone of the church.” Third, Pastor Amado Pantoja Vega, in him I saw the humility that is needed in the pulpit to serve successfully as a pastor. I am still in the master's workshop and that will be the case until the day I leave this earth. It has been an honor for me to be a follower of Jesus and if God allows me to enter into his eternal communion it would only be because of his mercy.
It is my purpose to share some of my drawings with the hope that it will help you re -Think on what we should practice, improve, imitate and/or avoid in the Christian life.
